The Indimex Foundation was founded in April 2021 by the Founder of the Indimex Group, Rajan Vig. The scope of the foundation is wholly charitable, and the purpose of the company is to provide guidance and help to charities across Mexico.
Indimex Group, which comprises both Indimex Marketing and Trading & Fino Furniture, is passionate not only in developing business for the benefit of Mexicans but also to give back to those less fortunate than us.
Employees of the Indimex Group will be given the choice to provide assistance for a minimum of ten hours per month on the Group's time to the charity of their choice in Mexico City to promote a culture of philanthropy and altruism within the two entities.
There is no bias when it comes to charity endeavours and Indimex Foundation is not limited by the charities it chooses to serve. Nonetheless, the Founder has an interest in youth crime, demilitarization and rehabilitation of gang members as per the dissertation and thesis he wrote on the aforementioned subjects in the context of civil wars in Guatemala and El Salvador during his academic career at the University of Oxford and University of Manchester in the UK.
The founder has been blessed with the support and guidance of his parents who have supported charitable efforts in the UK through the Rotary Organization, raising money for groups such as the Shooting Hospice and through his father’s personal endeavors raising money in the UK to build schools in Sri Lanka, South Asia. These experiences helped to form the Founder’s desire to continue in such footsteps and give back to Mexico, a country that has given so much to him.
Indimex Group holds no discrimination in relation to creed, religion, color or sexual preference. Life is too short to focus on what separates us if only we focused on the characteristics that make us more similar, the latter of which it believes exist in far greater numbers.
